FloraPodium was invited to David Austin's European Marketing Event. David Austin has been growing English garden roses for generations. When the first cut rose Juliette was introduced a few years ago, it went viral. Since then, David Austin has also focused on small-scale exclusive cut flowers in addition to garden plants, which are particularly suitable for weddings. Their website is designed to inspire and give advice about these roses. For example when it is the best time to order them, so that they are the most beautiful on that one special day.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss together about how David Austin can create more sales in Europe and also get more demand for these specific roses during the winter months. America is their largest market. They are very active there in the sale of English roses and they are also very progressive in terms of marketing.
All species (about 15 in total, three of which were new) were on display. About 2.600 roses were processed in beautiful flower arrangements! The focus was on the theme 'Wedding' with a clear English accent.
There is a fantastic warm team working at David Austin; incredibly friendly and cordial. Together with the Parfum Flower Company they have set up a very nice event, where everything was taken care of down to the very last detail.
